What the speaker was kicking me in the butt hard. From my experiences in life, this is something we don't practice. But he said something like this: "If we are godly people that we claim to be, we will come along side brothers and sisters and point sin out and help restore one another. If we do nothing to help the individual, we are simply and plainly judging that person. If we do nothing to help and restore that individual we are judging. On the flip side we need to be cautious and make sure that we do not fall into sin. Sin of pride and arrogance. We are to bear each others burdens." I have failed at this. I think the church is all about the knowing and all about the doing nothing about it. We look at failures and weakness' like some kind of disease. I honestly don't think this is what Christ intended, and surely not what the early church did. I think we missed the mark big time on this.
